Aaron GriffithAaron Griffith, age 21, is a student at North Carolina State University and is majoring in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology with a minor in Forest Management. He has spent the past two summers working for Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, monitoring piping plovers, American oystercatchers, and colonial nesting birds. Aaron started out as an intern and is currently working as a STEP (Student Temporary Employment Program) Biological Technician during his breaks from school. When not working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Aaron is very involved in school activities. He is the president of his school’s chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and competes in archery and wildlife identification for NC State’s timbersports team.
