Gabriela Yao-Cohen

Gabriela Yao-Cohen

Gabriela Yao-Cohen is a sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley, where she is currently studying ecology.  Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, she enjoys outdoor activities such as backpacking, hiking and scuba diving.  For the past four years, Gabriela has been involved with the SCA (Student Conservation Association), serving as a member of the Bay Area Conservation Leadership Corps.  In addition, she has spent two summers with the SCA performing trail maintenance at Mammoth Caves National Park and Dinosaur National Monument. This summer, Gabriela has continued her work with the SCA serving as a biological intern at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Massachusetts.
