The Freshwater Folk Festival is hosted by the Friends of the White Sulphur Springs Red Tail Hawk held by bird biologist at the FestivalNational Fish Hatchery and the date has been moved to the second Saturday in September. The annual Freshwater Folk Festival is a wonderful family-friendly day of splendid music, tasty food, local crafts, and fun hands-on educational activities, brought together around the Festival mission to promote understanding, appreciation, and conservation of freshwater resources; and to celebrate the local natural history and culture of White Sulphur Springs and Greenbrier County. The past 10 festivals have entertained thousands of people from West Virginia and beyond. The 11th Annual Freshwater Folk Festival will be held on September 12th, 2015.
