
The Freshwater Folk Festival is hosted by the Friends of the White Sulphur Springs Nationa
l Fish Hatchery and falls on the first Saturday of October every year. The annual Freshwater Folk Festival is a wonderful family-friendly day of splendid music, tasty food, local crafts, and fun hands-on educational activities, brought together around the Festival mission to promote understanding, appreciation, and conservation of freshwater resources; and to celebrate the local natural history and culture of White Sulphur Springs and Greenbrier County. The past four festivals have entertained thousands of people from West Virginia and beyond.
