TITLE: Aquatic Science in Action at the Northeast Fishery Center

BIO: Dr. Mike Millard started with the Fish & Wildlife Service in Alaska 1992, at the Fairbanks Fisheries Resource Office. His work took him to the Arctic NWR, the Yukon River, and several other venues in northern and central Alaska. Millard moved to the Arlington, VA headquarters office, working in the Fisheries program, in 1996 and then moved to the Northeast Fishery Center in Lamar, PA in 1998, as the Regional fishery biometrician, charged with assisting our filed stations statistical analyses, study design, and some fisheries population modeling. Millard became Center Director in 2002 and Complex Manager in 2008, which included supervision of three more Fisheries field stations in West Virginia.
