Volunteers play a vital role in helping the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service fulfill its mission of conserving, protecting and enhancing American's fish and wildlife and their habitats. Volunteers can perform a variety of different tasks, such as:
●Ihelp with wildlife surveys
●Iprovide visitor services
●Ilead tours
●Iassist in special projects
●Iassist in habitat management
●Iphotography
●Imaintenance

Anyone may volunteer, although if you are under 18 years of age you must have written parental approval. To apply as a volunteer at Rappahannock River Valley National Wildlife Refuge please contact the refuge for a volunteer application and aggreement.
