Environmental Education

The Refuge is proud to have opened its first public use site - the Wilna Pond Outdoor Classroom.  The site features an outdoor classroom site (pond, grassland, woodland habitats), fully accessible fishing pier, and an accessible trails.   Planned improvements include additional trails and interpretive signs.

The Refuge is open for environmental education activities by advanced reservation only. To schedule a visit, please call (804) 333-1470.
