Latest News in Developing the CCP
We are pleased to announce a final decision has been made on the comprehensive conservation plan (CCP) for this refuge. On January 9, 2009 our Regional Director selected Alternative B from the Final CCP/EIS for implementation. This decision, which is documented in the Record of Decision (ROD), represents over 6 years of work among federal and state agencies, local and regional officials and communities, conservation organizations and user groups. Click here to view our latest newsletter announcing the availability of the ROD.

How to Access the Documents
We have completed the stand-alone CCP document based on Alternative B in the Final CCP/EIS. If you would like to view or download the stand-alone CCP, please click here for a complete list of files.

To view the Final CCP/EIS, please see below.

These files are at a lower resolution than the print or cd-rom versions of the document in order to reduce the file sizes and facilitate downloading.  As a result, the quality of the many maps and photos may not be as clear as you would like. As another option, we have also provided below high resolution files of individual maps and figures for you to view and print as needed.

We are also making available the summary report of public comments received on the draft CCP/EIS compiled by the U.S. Forest Service Recreation Solutions Team. To view or download that report click here. (PDF 1.4MB)
