Comprehensive Conservation Planning

Elizabeth Hartwell Mason Neck (Mason Neck) and Featherstone are two of the three refuges comprising the Potomac River National Wildlife Refuge. The other refuge is Occoquan Bay. A comprehensive conservation plan (CCP) was already completed for Occoquan Bay in 1997. We are now developing a CCP for Elizabeth Hartwell Mason Neck and Featherstone.

Elizabeth Hartwell Mason Neck and Featherstone have offically started their Comprehensive Conservation Plan!!

We have been working on developing our draft comprehensive conservation plan for both refuges. We anticipate releasing it to the public this spring.
