Erie National Wildlife Refuge Comprehensive Conservation Planning
Latest News in Developing the CCP
Refuge staff have initiated and completed a number of important projects supporting the Comprehensiver Conservation Plan (CCP), and are now ready to move forward on the CCP process in earnest. We received comments from over 100 individuals and 10 stakeholder groups during the public scoping period. We evaluated these comments to help determine significant issues for refuge management.

Currently, we are developing potential management alternatives to address issues and meet refuge goals. These management alternatives will be available for public comment as part of the Draft CCP and Environmental Assessment (EA). One of the management alternatives will be chosen to guide refuge management for the next 15 years, and will appear in the Final CCP document.
