Comprehensive Conservation Planning

The Eastern Massachusetts National Wildlife Refuge Complex encompasses eight refuges: the Assabet River, Great Meadows, Oxbow, Monomoy, Nomans Land, Mashpee, Massasoit, and Nantucket refuges. Due to the size of this complex, we have divided our planning into three groups. One of those is a CCP for the Mashpee, Massasoit and Nantucket refuges .

The other two are CCP's for

  1. Assabet River, Great Meadows, Oxbow refuges
  2. Monomoy and Nomans's Land Island refuges

The Mashpee, Massosoit and Nantucket refuges are now in the Preplanning stage of the CCP process, and are scheduled to begin working on their CCP in 2010. Please check back for more information on the Mashpee, Massosoit and Nantucket CCP at that time.
