How To Volunteer

Volunteering is as Easy as 1 - 2 - 3

1.  Read the descriptions of current available volunteer jobs at Volunteer Opportunities.   Look for the jobs that match your interests.   Note that jobs may be available all or only part of the year and  may have age requirements.

2.  Complete the application form
Call 301-497-5565 to request an application package, or write to:
Phil LePelch, Volunteer Coordinator
National Wildlife Visitor Center
10901 Scarlet Tanager Loop
Laurel, MD 20708-4027
email: phil_lepelch@fws.gov

Complete the application, mail it to Phil LePelch.

3. We will contact you.   Being accepted as a PRR Volunteer begins with an orientation seminar.   Orientation seminars are held every month.    We'll call to talk with you and let you know the date of the next orientation seminar.

We look forward to welcoming you as a PRR Volunteer.
