Purpose: In response to requests, these volunteers promote the Refuge by presenting programs to community organizations.

Duties: Volunteers present programs promoting the Refuge in response to group/organization requests.

Location of Assignment: Local commuting area.

Qualifications: Extraordinary people and presentation skills, and enthusiasm for the Refuge and Refuge system are required. The ability to work in a variety of environments and conditions is required. Flexibility is also a necessity.

Minimum Age Requirement: 16.

Training Provided/Required: Refuge Orientation (6 hours), Customer Service on-the-job training (8 hours), at least 50 hours of volunteer time at the Refuge, and certification by staff are required prior to any assignment. Defensive Driving Course will be required if a government vehicle will be driven.

Time Commitment: Varies.
