Plans & Partnerships
Bird conservation plans provide a framework for various migratory bird conservation initiatives. Often creating a forum for exchanging information, bird plans include the formation of partnerships between individuals, organizations, universities, interest groups, federal and state agencies. We work with North American partners to integrate the current ongoing bird conservation initiatives for the four major categories of birds:
Partnerships at the local level are an intricate part of each plan's support, and implementation. Local partnerships bring together biologists, planners, land managers, and organizations to work within bird conservation regions and identify landscape-scale priorities, collaborate resources, share information and expand knowledge.
