Volunteers and Interns

The Volunteer and Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for the public to take an active role in fulfilling the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s mission.

Whether you are a student fulfilling curriculum requirements, a recent graduate seeking meaningful work experience, a retiree ready to do all the things you didn’t have time for before, or just simply interested and looking for a way to make a difference, our program is for you.
