Lido Beach National Wildlife Refuge
*

This Area is almost entirely tidal wetland, where shorebird and wading bird diversity is high.  Wintering waterfowl such as black ducks and Atlantic brant also make good use of the wetland.  Lido Beach supports nesting clapper rails, osprey and numerous songbirds due to its location on a barrier island. Management focuses on wetland restoration and invasive species control.

*Open to select public use activities (e.g., biological research, environmental education) by Special Use Permit. For more information Contact Us.
