Office of Law Enforcement | Cambridge, MD
The Cambridge Office of Law Enforcement has traditionally been the center for Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA) enforcement in the Chesapeake Bay area. Federal Game Wardens, such as Willie J. Parker flourished in the hunting areas surrounding the Bay. Although the Office of Law Enforcement priorities have changed since the days of Willie J. Parker, the current Investigators still enforce the MBTA, but also focus on the commercialization aspect of migratory bird hunting. In addition, the Investigators enforce and investigate violations of other federal laws such as the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, the Lacey Act, and the Endangered Species Act in coordination with County, State and Federal Law Enforcement partners.
