Umbagog Wildlife Festival

The Umbagog Wildlife Festival in Errol, N.H., is an annual event started in 1999 as a way to celebrate the area's diverse wildlife and to unite the various groups working to conserve wildlife in the area.  Past celebrations have included live fish and wildlife presentations, an edible plant walk and cooking demonstration, fire without matches demonstrations, an amateur photo contest, a wild flower arranging contest, a build-your-own bat or birdhouse workshop, a barbeque, all day vendor arts and crafts, as well as guided pontoon boat and canoe tours. The festival is held in early August each year. Find out more about the 10th annual Umbagog Wildlife Festival.
