Meetings at the Cusano Environmental Education Center

Who can schedule a meeting at the CEEC?
Organizations with similar missions, local community groups, federal agencies and partner organizations may use the meeting room.

When can you have our meeting?
Meetings can be held from 8:30-4:00 Monday through Friday unless special arrangements are made with refuge staff.

How can you reserve the meeting room for your group?
Call the Cusano Environmental Education Center to find out if your date is available.  The room is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis for groups that meet the above criteria.  You will be asked to fill out a reservation form.

How much does it cost to use the room?
Use of the room is free of charge.

How big is the meeting space?
The meeting room can accommodate up to 100 people, auditorium style; 40 people auditorium style; and 30 people "U" style.

What if you want to show a video at your meeting?
The room is equipped with a slide projector, VCR, overhead projector,  stage, podium, microphone.

What kinds of material should you bring to my meeting?
You must supply all materials needed for your meeting, including flip chart paper, easels, markers, tape and similar items.

Can you have food at your meeting?
Food and drinks are not allowed in the meeting room and exhibit area.  Groups may use the small lunchroom in the classroom wing for food set-up and eating. There is no food sold at the refuge.  Refuge staff can provide a list of nearby restaurants that deliver.  Coffeepots and hot water are available for your use.
