Maine Fisheries Complex , located at the Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery in E. Orland, Maine, is comprised of the Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery, the Green Lake National Fish Hatchery (located in Ellsworth, Maine) and the Maine Fishery Resource Office (located at Craig Brook NFH). The Complex was established in 2002 as a way to coordinate the efforts of the two sister hatcheries and the MFR Office. The Maine Fisheries Program Complex provides Service policy coordination, administration, and outreach for the recovery of Atlantic salmon and other interjurisdictional fishes in Maine. Co-located with the Maine Fishery Resource Office and the Craig Brook NFH in East Orland, the Complex oversees the operations of these two units and the Green Lake NFH in supporting anadromous fish recovery in 16 rivers and related watersheds, including the Gulf of Maine Distinct Population Segment of endangered Atlantic salmon.

Maine Fishery Resource Office , provides technical assistance, program coordination and liaison to partners in fisheries restoration and recovery. Station staff are involved in fisheries management, hatitat protection and restoration, and hatchery program evaluation for Atlantic salmon, American shad, river herring and other migratory fishes in Maine.
