HOW TO ENLARGE TEXT AND CHANGE THE BACKROUND COLOR OF A WEB SITE TO MAKE IT MORE READABLE.
Text size is dependent on the type and version of the browser one uses to view the Internet. These instructions are intended to assist in making our web site
more readable and therefore more user friendly. Please note that the page layout will be altered as the text is enlarged. The instructions below
apply primarily to Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or Netscape Navigator
4.8, though they may also apply to other browser versions. Please refer to the 'Help' item at the top of your browser for more details.
Browser Type: Microsoft Internet Explorer
How to enlarge text size:
Open your Internet Explorer Web Browser.
Select View from the menu at the top of the window.
Choose Text size.
Another menu should appear listing Smallest to Largest.
Select Largest.
The text in your browser window should now appear larger.
Changing colors:
Open your Internet Explorer Web Browser.
Select Tools from the menu at the top of the window.
From the options that appear, select Internet Options.
From the General tab click on the button marked Accessibility.
To remove background and font colors, select the checkbox
marked Ignore colors specified on web pages.
Click OK.
Browser Type: Netscape Navigator
How to enlarge text size:
Open your Netscape Navigator Web Browser.
Select View from the menu at the top of the window.
Click Increase Font
The text in your browser window should now appear larger.
Repeat until the text is at the desired size.
Changing colors:
Open your Netscape Navigator Web Browser.
Select Edit from the menu at the top of the window and choose Preferences.
Open the Appearance group and select the Colors category.
Select a color button to change colors of text, background, unvisited links, or visited links.
To override the colors used in the web page, select Always use my colors,
overriding document.
Click OK.
