National Fish Hatchery Manager Receives Hero for Healthy Planet Award

Micky Novak, manager of the Richard Cronin National Salmon Station, is more fondly known around western Massachusetts as “the fish guy." After decades of “tireless dedication to environmental education and conservation of aquatic life," he was recognized for his outstanding contributions with the Hitchcock Center for the Environment's 2014 Heroes for a Healthy Planet Award.
