New York man pleads guilty to illegally trafficking elephant ivory


Feb. 17, 2016 - A Franklinville, N.Y., man pleaded guilty today to violating federal wildlife law by illegally importing and selling elephant ivory. The investigation was led by the Service and the State of New York, and is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's office of western N.Y. Sentencing is scheduled for May.
