Jenna is a recent graduate from the University of Maine who has been interning for the biology and visitor services departments at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge on Assateague Island, Virginia. Her passion for the environment stems from her childhood in the great state of Maine, known for its abundance of outdoor activities. Prior to working at Chincoteague Refuge, Jenna spent five summers working at Pineland Farms, a non-profit, 5,000-acre organic farm, where she developed a strong foundation of skills for field work and resource interpretation. Jenna is always eager to learn and spread knowledge about the environment, with the intention of enriching minds and connecting community with nature.
