Facilities Operation Specialist Craig Knights


Honoring Our Veterans: Craig Knights


Originally from Lincoln, ME, Craig Knights first joined the US Air Force in 1989 and served until he retired in 2009. While serving his country Knights was honored with several well-deserved awards including Air Force Commendation Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters, an Air Force Achievement Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, a Southwest Asia Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Korean Defense Service Medal. Knights is currently a Facilities Operations Specialist at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Maine Fisheries Complex in East Orland and Ellsworth, Maine. When asked about his time spent serving his country Knights proudly responds, “It was an absolute honor and privilege to be able to serve with such a high caliber of professional men and women during my 20 years of service. The same level of teamwork and professionalism is needed and provided at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to ensure that our mission gets accomplished”.
