6 Acres added to Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge
Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge in Maine, recently acquired a 6-acre tract located directly on Cobscook Bay. The tract is surrounded by refuge property and will support managment of the refuge by providing vital feeding and nesting habitat for many bird species, including waterfowl and shorebirds. The conservation of this area will also add to the protection of the unique biological resources of Cobscook Bay.
