Timber Point added to Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service added the 158-acre Timber Point property in Biddeford, Maine to Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Located in the heart of the Gulf of Maine watershed, Timber Point is mostly undisturbed habitat, providing feeding and resting areas for various species of shorebirds.
