Comprehensive Conservation Plan

The purpose of the Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) is to describe how the refuge can best be managed to conserve wildlife and provide recreation opportunities over the next 15 years.

Erie National Wildlife Refuge held four meetings to collect the public's input on the refuge's comprehensive plan on March 19 and March 20. The meetings were held to inform the public about the Comprehensive Conservation Plan that will be drafted for the refuge. Participants had the opportunity to provide input at the sessions. Those who could not attend could submit written comments until April 30.

Information on the progress of the CCP are in the Newsletters below.
