Jessica Rhodes, Fish and Wildlife BiologistPartners for Fish and Wildlife Program, Virginia Field OfficeJessica Rhodes joined the Virginia Field Office (VAFO) 7 years ago as a biologist with the Partners for Fish and Wildlife (PFW) program. She previously worked at the Pennsylvania Field Office (PAFO) within the Conservation Planning Assistance program. While at PAFO, Rhodes participated in the Student Career Experience Program as an undergraduate. She graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences in 2004. At VAFO, Rhodes assists senior PFW biologists with habitat restoration projects, designs and maintains the VAFO website, serves as the IT point of contact for VAFO, and provides Geographic Information System (GIS) assistance for biologists at VAFO. Rhodes is also currently pursuing a Master's degree in GIS through an online program with Penn State University. Rhodes spends the rest of her time with her son, husband, and four dogs. She enjoys an active lifestyle; including training her dogs in agility, running, fishing with her family, and exploring the local beaches of Mathews County. |
