Christine Guimond, Management Analyst

Christine Guimond has worked for the Service for 20 years, and before that, she worked in the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Department of Interior. Guimond is originally from Holyoke, Mass., but she went to college overseas and spent many years living in Japan with her husband of 43 years, who was in the military.

After her husband retired from the military, Guimond decided she wanted to continue working for government. She started at the Service as a secretary and was later promoted. As a management analyst, Guimond spends the majority of her day meeting with other staff members and project leaders about contracts and budget policy.

When she is not working, Guimond enjoys sewing and painting. And she can't resist a good mystery novel either.
