Set on the second Saturday in May, International Migratory Bird Day is an invitation to celebrate and support migratory bird conservation.

Eastern Shore Birding Festival

Eastern Shore of Virginia Birding and Wildlife Festival Website.
The annual Eastern Shore Birding Festival takes place the third weekend in September each year.
Tours of Fisherman Island as well as walks at the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge are only a small part of this event.
