EAGLE NEST UPDATE

Eagles nest after Hurricane SandyRemember the eagle nest located near Wildlife Loop? The nest along with the eagle camera fell when the tree they nested in was blown down during Hurricane Sandy. Fortunately, the pair still has plenty of time to reconstruct a new home just in time for mating season which occurs in December. Observers have witnessed the couple actively “house hunting” for the perfect spot to bring their young into the world; however, they have not yet settled on the perfect roost.
