Geographic Information Systems – GIS News and Highlights

 

The GIS program provides specialized GIS analytical and mapping support to Ecological Services and others to further the Service's mission.

The Regional Office GIS program provides support in the form of:

  • data creation
  • data collection
  • technical assistance
  • recommendations on spatial integration
  • project organization
  • database creation
  • regional level GIS advocate for ES field offices
  • participation in regional GIS migration across divisions
