* Back Bay surf fishing, freshwater fishing "D" Pool Impoundment open for fishing - panfish only, max 10 - barbless hook, no live minnow bait. Fishing pier. Family Fishing Festival - 1st Saturday in June.
Cedar Island sound and bay fishing boat ramps available
Currituck surf fishing (not actually on refuge land) vehicular access requires 4X4.
*Great Dismal Swamp freshwater fishing boat ramp available
*Mackay Island sound fishing boat ramp available
