Retirement/Relocation Costs

• Project Description: FY 1992 -Funding allocated to the Alaska Region to pay relocation costs of employee selected for position in the Director's Office.

FY 1994 -Funding provided to each of the Service's Regional Offices to centrally pay the costs associated with retiring employees who had accepted buyout entitlements which were authorized government-wide. Funds were allocated to pay the $25,000/employee payment, plus costs associated with employee benefits and relocations for qualifying senior executives. These costs were treated as a centralized administrative cost and distributed among Service appropriations and funds.
