Bulletin: Draft Economic Analysis Available for Proposed Revision of Quino Checkerspot Butterfly Critical Habitat

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service today announced the availability of the draft economic analysis (DEA) for the January 17, 2008, proposed rule to revise critical habitat for the endangered Quino checkerspot butterfly.
Additionally, the Service is reopening the comment period on its proposed rule to revise critical habitat and proposing revisions to proposed critical habitat Unit 2. An advance copy of the DEA, is available online through the Federal Register at http://www.regulations.gov, or in writing to: Public Comments Processing, Attn: RIN 1018-AV23; Division of Policy and Directives Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 4401 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 222, Arlington, VA 22203. Comments will be accepted until January 20, 2009.
Copies of the proposed rule, draft economic analysis and other information about the Quino checkerspot butterfly will be available on December 19, 2008, at http://www.regulations.gov, /www.fws.gov.
