Distinguishing Characters: 4-8 inches tall; flat-topped,yellow flowers; leaves are oblanceolate or spatulate; differs from other goldenrods in its range by the flat-topped inflorescence and the smooth, toothed, non-clasping stem leaves.
Threats: Trampling, resort development
