This errata sheet clarifies/corrects the following information in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) and the Summary of the DEIS.

1. Clarification: Public comments are being requested on two draft documents:

- Draft Environmental Impact Statement on Grizzly Bear Recovery in the Bitterroot Ecosystem.

- Endangered Species Act, Proposed Special Rule 10(j), Establishment of a Nonessential Experimental Population of Grizzly Bears in the Bitterroot Area of Idaho and Montana (published in the Federal Register July 1, 1997, and included as Appendix 13 in the DEIS.)

2. Correction: The official comment period has been changed for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement on Grizzly Bear Recovery in the Bitterroot Ecosystem, and the Proposed Special Rule 10(j), Establishment of a Nonessential Experimental Population of Grizzly Bears in the Bitterroot Area of Idaho and Montana. The official comment period for both documents is July 11, 1997 through October 9, 1997.

Comments must be received by October 9, 1997.
