                  depend almost entirely on sagebrush for food and =

                  </SPAN>In the summer, the birds depend on the grass =
and plants=20
                  that grow under the sagebrush to provide nesting =
material, as=20
                  well as high-protein insects that are critical to the =
diet of=20
                  chicks in their first month of life. In winter, more =
