This North Dakota
township contains private farmland, wetlands, and public land in the National Wildlife
Refuge System. In 1994, this township produced excellent crops of wheat, barley . . . as
well as ducks.
| A patchwork-quilt of voluntary
easements covers the township. These easements protect wetlands or retire highly
erodible cropland to wildlife habitat. |

Migratory birds and other wildlife
