Question:

“I’ve noticed that many of the people in the Get Your Goose On! photos are holding towels. Do I have to have a towel to submit photos? Where can I get my own towel?”

Answer:

“All you need to get your goose on is an interest in having a good time outdoors at a national wildlife refuge. Many refuges have non-profit 'Friends of the Refuge' organizations that administer nature stores at their local refuge. Select nature stores have towels available. If you like the idea of posing with a towel, but don't have them available in your area, feel free to download the artwork here and print it out on a sheet of paper or card stock at home."
