Block Clearance Maps:
The Fish and Wildlife Service, in coordination with the Colorado Division of Wildlife, finalized the 1992 recommendations for block clearing along the Front Range and added Yuma county to the block cleared area. Boundaries for some Front Range counties are not well defined on east and west sides. For more on the information presented in these maps, please contact the Colorado

The Service proposes to reintroduce black-footed ferrets in Logan County, Kansas. The primary objections of the proposed action are to experiment with reintroduction of ferrets into much smaller prairie dog colonies than has traditionally been attempted; and to attempt to establish a self‑sustaining population outside the known active occurrence of sylvatic plague.

Reviews: Peer Review for Black-footed Ferret (Mustela nigripes) 5-Year Review: Summary and Evaluation
On July 7, 2005, the Service initiation of a 5-year review of Black-footed ferret (Mustela nigripes) and Pallid sturgeon (Scaphirhynchus albus).
