COMPREHENSIVE CONSERVATION PLAN
Modoc National Wildlife Refuge began it's Comprehensive Conservation
Plan (CCP) process in August 2007. The purpose of the CCP is to describe
how the Refuge can best be managed to continue benefiting wildlife, plants
and people over the next 15 years. The CCP provides the refuge manager
a blue print for management by identifying goals, objectives, and strategies.
It also provides neighbors and others a clear picture of what the Refuge
intends to do in terms of managing the habitat, protecting the wildlife,
and providing a place where people can enjoy wildlife-dependent activities.
