Activities and Events

Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge is an excellent place to come and observe wildlife. Due to the sensitivity of both the endangered cranes and the wet pine savanna, visitors are asked to stay in designated open areas.

To get out onto the refuge, please use the trails system or attend one of our Special Events. You can also become a volunteer and help us at the Visitor's Center and out on the refuge.

Our Visitor's Center is now open! Tuesday - Saturday, 9am - 3pm.

Check back often for additional special events!
