Oct 25 9am Wildlife Photography Workshop - Wildlife Photographer, Terry Hartley will be giving a workshop about this dynamic field. Terry also presents at the Alabama Coastal Bird Fest. Bring your camera for a trip into the field.

Oct 25 11am Mississippi Sandhill Crane New Headquarters Dedication - It's been a long journey, but now the visitor center and C.L. Dees trail are in better shape than ever. Participate in the dedication ceremony.

Oct 25 10am-4pm Scavenger Hunt - Come to the visitor center to get your entry form, fill it out by visiting the booths at the festival and get a prize! Additionally, each family that participates in the Scavenger Hunt can be entered into the drawing for 2 rounds of golf at The Preserve Golf Course, an Audubon International Certified Bird Sanctuary.

Oct 25 10am-4pm National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration - Being a sea turtle can be interesting in the Gulf of Mexico. Come learn about them and the hurdles they encounter. A special TED experience.

Academy Begins Hourly: 10, 12, 1, 2, 3
Fire - It's an important and natural part of the savanna. Participate in the Fire Academy during the Festival to learn all about prescribed fire. The Fire Academy is a great and unique opportunity to get hands on with wildland fire operations.
