Biological Resource Maps

Most of the maps below have been recently developed. They represent an initial step in what we hope will be a large series of maps or overlays indicating the location of known biological resources. We hope they will be useful in helping to avoid important biological resource areas when selecting potential sites for wind power projects. At this stage, we cannot say with certainty that biological resources may not be located at unmarked areas on maps, but we can at least indicate where known resources exist and where adverse impacts are likely. If you find the concept of these maps to be useful, please contact us.
