Great River State Bike Trail Pool 7 |
From I-90 East take the 3rd exit, Highway 35 North to Main Street in Onalaska. Turn right on Main and go six blocks to the Onalaska Tourism Council where you can purchase your pass and get a map of all the bike trail systems in the area. You can exit at many different points along the way or ride the trail to Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge. The trail is managed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. |

Easy. Maximum grade is three percent. The trail surface is finely crushed limestone suitable for walking or biking much of the year. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are available when there is adequate snow, but be aware snowmobiles also use the trail. | ||||||||||||||||||
