The
Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians is collecting
biological information from sturgeon in Lake Michigan
and plan to increase their involvement in sturgeon research
in the coming years. They also assist with population
assessments in Black Lake in Cheboygan County, Michigan.
