Prairie Restoration

Each fall, PSC students in the Corps of Discovery measure and survey populations of plants and insect life in small plots of tallgrass prairie. In the process of measuring and surveying, students learn about native and non-native species. They also learn about biodiversity as they discover the living organisms in their plots.
