Workshop Activities

* Carvers will review patterns, carve heads and bodies using hand tools and power tools, assemble decoys, and demonstrate eye placement and final painting of decoys

* Children & Adults - paint your own Ruddy Duck silhouette, aided by the Maumee Bay Carvers

*On Display - works by the Maumee Bay Carvers

Raffle! Raffle! Raffle!

Notice All Collectors: The carvers will work jointly on a one-of-a-kind Ruddy Duck Hunting Decoy that will be signed by all visiting carvers and painters and raffled by the Ottawa NWR Association to benefit the refuge.

Raffle tickets will be on sale for $5.00 each at Ottawa NWR unitl the drawing on May 10, 2009.
