On May 30, 2006, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Ohio Field Office held its first running buffalo clover (Trifolium stoloniferum) consultation workshop. The workshop focused on conducting consultation on running buffalo clover, as required under Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). This one-day workshop was held in the field to orient participants with the habitat requirement of the species and how to identify the plant in the wild.
